Works so well across platforms
The ability to keep track of things when using phone, tablet, laptop and desktop is the attraction of the sheets app. When I’m out of town and without wifi connection I can still update and know these will be on all devices after the next connection.
There seem to be several features that are difficult or impossible on iPAD
There seem to be several features that are difficult or impossible on iPAD, but it is v similar to well-known (to me) Excel on a PC. For instance: copy and paste on iPad, choosing whether to copy text or formulas or formats. And am I old-fashioned to want a help button on the sheet, so I can ask how to do something right there. [I know modern software is supposed to be intuitive, but that just makes the user feel too inadequate to use it when they can’t guess]
Great for business or personal use.
Google sheets is so easy to use and as part of the google suit of cloud base software is easily shared with others for collaboration on projects.
Access is easy from all devices, so if you’re out and about and you need to double check your figures, simply pull up the GS app on your phone or iPad and Bob’s your uncle.
