Ratings and Reviews
Looks great! Though there are some glitches
Media control options are cool and it is working great. But still there is some glitch while pressing the control. If that is fixed, then it will be best widget for music
Developer Response ,
I understand that you must feel that playback controls are glitchy but it’s sadly due to a limitation in iOS.
In iOS, widgets aren’t allowed to perform tasks themselves, they must assign the task to its parent app and open it, what WidgetPod does is quickly kick you out of the app when it’s done with the task, thus appears jumpy/glitchy. Without kicking out, the app would simply stay open until it’s manually closed. Unfortunately, since this is an iOS limitation on how Widgets work, we couldn’t bypass that and this is the best that’s possible. Hope you understand.
I have a tip if it helps:
If you enable Reduce Motion in Settings.app > Accessibility > Motion, the flickering becomes less obtrusive, but that does disable some more animations iOS wide. If that’s something you don’t mind, you can enable it.
If iOS ever allows having buttons that can perform tasks without requiring to open the parent app, we’d make sure to support it.
Not satisfied
I understand that the limitation is not in your control, but the animation of opening the app while using the widget is unacceptable.I find it to be misleading that this animation is not shown in the demo in the app.
Great design, and I would love to purchase it again if this can be fixed. In the meanwhile, I would like a refund.

I certainly understand that you would like a refund and you may get it by asking Apple for it. Search for ‘App Store Refund’ on a search engine of your choice and you’ll find some links. Alternatively, you can do it over a call to App Store support as well.
Thanks for reviewing.
Good concept, just needs to be more adaptive.
Thanks for creating this widget it’s a game changer for all the music enthusiasts!
I just hope the media gets updated on the widget in real time, without actually having to tap on it for a refresh.
Same goes for switching between streaming platforms.
Thank you!
