Some strange response, every time I open this app!
Every time I open this app, a page appears saying “ Image not available “ before the login page. Initially I got scared as if it indicated some fake insertion. This has been there for the last two or three months and not earlier. How come the developer or an IT person in the ITD of the Bank has failed to notice this and rectify for this long. This does not reflect well with a bank which received awards after awards ! ( I could not insert an image here in this review for a better appreciation of the issue )
Though the app fulfils most basic needs, there are many areas needing interventions. It is felt that an exhaustive user testing was not done properly before or after the release. The passbook functionality is not useful as it often says account number is missing, though the app itself fills the number using a pull down option.
No sim detected
I am using iphone 11 i do have have a sim inserted in the sim slot i am only using the esim in the device I don’t have a need of another sim but cant access the app from esim it says enter the sim please fix this issue. Other banking apps working fine just with the esim. Another issue is whenever the app forced us to update after updating it forced us to change the password for every update, it’s difficult to remember password when its change repeatedly, every time i had toreset the password through forgot password.
Worst app of the century
The Vyom app with union bank doesn’t work in I phone 15 I have called the customer care 50 times to let them know that the interface for choosing customer for transferring funds to payees doesn’t work we have to scroll through all the payees again and again to find the right person so if you have 300 payeees u have to scroll all of them because the names are not in sequence
Such a big bank is so useless that their customer care also doesn’t know anything about this app the google pay stoped working on I phone
Better to close the account and find another bank than to going through all this trouble
This is the reason these nationalised banks never be able to compete with regular banks as the people working in the branch also are least interested in your problem and say yeah aise hi chalta hai
