Much more to improve
Even though it’s clubbed many things, but it should have retained old features, like trips are not linked to maps, older version was much more user friendly & easy to navigate, etc. Seems, it has been released without proper testing & it is very raw. That is why I removed this version after installation & I am much more comfortable with the older version. I was excited to have everything under one umbrella, but very disappointed. This is my honest feedback for improving
Pathetic experience
It has been 8 months since I bought the top spec car(Safari- 33 lakhs) in Tata Motors portfolio. it took me almost 2 month to do the KYC and start using this app. That too with me raising issues with showroom, service centre and customer care. Twice it has stopped working and the resolution took so much time. Clearly your hardware/ telematics are below par and it’s just there as marketing purpose in the brochure. As of today my car was last synced in May29th so last 2.5 months it’s not working, customer care says SIM is active though I don’t see any coverage in the car, service centre says pls uninstall and install..that’s the only solution. Last time I had to write mail to the iRA support team and show the mail to SC folks and then they responded.
Technically I’ve only used this app for 2 months and rest of the time including now it’s not working.
I regret every time, “why again I bought Tata car”, I had Nexon from 2017 I should’ve learned so I think it’s my fault that I should’ve moved away from all this vocal for local.
Very useful app for Tata car owners
I have been using ira 2.0 app for few months now. It has improved, stabilised and provides a lot of features as well as information.
Similar to other competitors, the app provides facility from owners mobile to lock, unlock, start, horn and light functions. One can see the range and fuel data. You can set many alerts like tyre pressure, idling, geofencing etc which are helpful when driven by chauffeur or valet.
One can see past service data, schedule next service and make booking. It even offers vehicle exchange, RSA and emergency sos services.
