inDrive: taxi rides platform 4+

I came to know about this via a friend last year. The flexibility to play with fares is a better option than spiked and hiked rates showed by the competitors. Though this app also shows the same when demand spikes.
Ironically, these are the same cabs and drivers who ride on other platforms. Unlike Ola and Uber, one can pay through their personal wallet rather than the pains of integrating and authenticating payments channels. At times, you might not get a cab as expected but a smelly and dirty on inside and/or dented and chipped on outside. If that’s not all, you might get a cab of different registration number and vehicle make. Their explanation, recently changed vehicles or operating more than one vehicle which is common with fleet operators. I think ID should implement a way to register drivers with more than one car and/ or multiple drivers especially, if they’re a fleet/ taxi operator. This can not only save the misery but also increase passenger safety when boarding a cab with different resgistration.

There were multiple instances in which my ID was blocked by InDrive for no reason and all the scenarios remains the same. The driver accepted the ride and I was waiting for him to arrive. He neither drove towards me nor he responded to my call. He kept driving away and the ride was still ON. I kept waiting for more than 15mins and his GPS kept moving away from me. Then I decided to cancel the ride to book another one and added the reason while cancelling as ‘driver kept moving away and was not responding to my calls’. Unfortunately, on raising the complain against the driver, InDrive without even validating the review blocked my account on the spot and this same thing happened with me several times. Not once, not twice. Their developers have coded in such a way that if an user cancels the ride for 2-3 times, then without even validating the scenario immediately suspend the user’s account. Read out the reason first and validate the scenario with both the driver and the user post that decide on whom’s ID needs to suspended or blocked. This app is completely unreliable. It can betray you anytime without even knowing that it was the driver’s fault.

This is about a ride I took on the name of Nihal - 16 Nov mid night 2.37am from international airport. I was a alone women travelling after dropping off someone at the AirPort this driver drove the car so fast that he couldn’t even see the porthole on the road it’s was a scary experience when I asked him to slow down he said, I have other passengers to complete too it’s not only you… look at the audacity and how unprofessional… Later after arriving location price changed and when I asked why was the price changes rider had no info and even after showing him the amount which was still reflecting on my application he refused and started demanding more slow he started raising his voice and when I shouted he started abusing me in front of my buldg watchman then finally I had to take him to police station for using fouls and abusive language such a horrible and pathetic experience Lastly got absolutely no support from customer service panther rude and unprofessional drivers, horrible customer service… this company won’t last more then few months with such great customer experience… People be careful for the sake of 20 - 30Rs don’t get troubled with cheap experience… really not-worth it
