App is good, but needs a lot of improvement

1) I use the iPad and iPhone versions of the app. The iPad version is highly unreliable. It suddenly decides to not load the content and gives error message. It seems app stability and performance is not tested properly.

2) Older app had past issues of last few years available. That is not available in the new app. Too disappointing. It must show all the archive issues.

3) The app must have all the content which is available on hbr.org website. It must also inherit the library saved on the website. How inefficient it is to have two libraries for the same HBR on two different platforms…!!!

I wish you look into this and improve.

Thanks.

Mediocre experience with the app

Although this app is much better than the previous one, I have a few observations/suggestions:
1. A progress bar on top of the articles to indicate how much of the article is left is much needed
2. Easy functionality to adjust font size will be a good addition
3. You can increase stickiness by introducing word meaning lookup and storing searches in history for the reader to revisit (like kindle)
4. Load time still seems to be on the higher side

Issue of past issues

There is no way in the new app to see the past issues. At best we can search on some, hint on an article.

Needs improvement.

Developer Response ,

Hi Nandakumar, we're working on re-introducing the past issues to the app. Would you be willing to chat with our product team and share your thoughts? Please email customercare@hbr.org and ask to be added to the magazine research group. We hope to learn from your feedback and implement your ideas.
