Excellent coverage. More options would be nice!
No complains about quality of content.
What I’d like is more options on what topics are delivered in the daily briefing as well as letting me choose the time of notification. Even though it’s espresso I don’t read it first thing in the morning. I read it when the day is over and having a notification at my time lets me be consistent in checking the app.
Ugly bar on iPhone X
Please remove the translucent bar atop single stories on iPhone X. With the time and network icons in the ears next to the notch the translucent bar is redundant; also, it looks ugly.

Previous: The app is stable, quick and loads reliably now. The translucent status bar can be done away with (iPhone X) but everything else, as far as design and usage are concerned, is wonderful. The content has always been second to none; including more suggestions for further reading (at the foot of every story) from the print edition would be great.

Previous: The unreliability that plagued the app in its early days seems to have returned, unfortunately.

Previous: The app is now extremely reliable in its loading. Speeding it up a little more wouldn't hurt. Neither would a Sunday edition: for example, I had to wait two days for Espresso to talk about the Paris attacks.
That said, I do appreciate the new Saturday edition.

Previous: Often, the app does load information but does not display it: it displays news from the previous day and switches to today when I visit the settings page and click on today's date.

Since the latest update, the app has been performing fairly well. I have, at times, loaded it twice following errors, but the app has otherwise (finally) reached a usable state. I would like to suggest including an extra section dedicated entirely to regional news (Asia, the Americas, Europe &c.) based on our choice under settings.
Mini dose of all the news I need
Espresso is a great way to start my work day. Not only does it keep me amply occupied while travelling to work, it keeps me updated with all that is happening around the world and quite efficiently at that.
