Don’t upgrade !!!
If it’s not broken why fix it, have anyone heard this before?
Well this App is great and have been great for a long time so I see absolutely no reason to upgrade, not when I read that people who have upgraded wish they have not.
Everything I’ve said here counts to many other Apps to, always read first, when they say bug fixed and you are having no bugs then don’t touch, also they might give something new in the upgrade to entice you to upgrade but what else is being changed ?
All I’m saying is be smart !
Don’t ever reinstall the app!
All is well until the app refuses to launch one day for some reason and you have to reinstall it. Happens to the best, but Netflix then won’t let you download some of the titles you’ve downloaded before the crash due to some random “yearly download limit”. You can still watch them online, but you lose the main reason you have an app to begin with - watching stuff online. Don’t update the app or the OS unless you have to, I guess.
They could fix this by either not deleting downloads when reinstalling the app (that would mean engineering effort) or by lifting the limits when this happens (support claims they can’t due to license agreements with providers), but it doesn’t seem to be on their priority list.
Too much expensive for so much abilities
Well, it’s a good service but with some stupid limits- one of them destroying the one of the best benefits of that service..
you can download the film you want to see later to the iPhone so you won’t use your cellular data but why the *** i cant stream my loaded films through AirPlay to my Apple TV? It’s says without any logical explanation that this option is unavailable and offers me to stream there through my CELLULAR DATA.
