Issue fixed with software upgrade

App is good, but unfortunately you cannot upload photos to the Frame TV from iPhone… ☹️ update: the issue is fixed after software upgrade on tv… 😊

The app is barely usable with The Frame TV

The "owner" of the TV is always broken. Each time I want to configure the TV from the app, I have to re-register. Then it works for a while. Next month, it's broken again. It always says that the TV is registered to someone else, though I'm the only one who has this app in the family.

Uploading new photos to the TV (the main reason I'm having the TV and using this app) is a pain. The app cannot handle my photo library, I have to hack my way around it each time. Uploading a photo sometimes work, sometimes not. You have to try several times to succeed.

Widget: dark mode? Heat scene? AC status?

Okay, now you achieved the bare minimum: I was able to add my room AC and set it up to automatically turn off when I leave the house. (I hope the latter works, we will see...) Congratulations!

The widget would be a great and welcomed addition if it would support dark mode and you might know that in Europe it’s the cold season, so if I could create a “Change mode: Heat” scene, I would even use it. Sadly, I cannot.

Also the app always reports the AC as Off and I have to tap on the power icon to get the real status.

Developer Response ,

Hi there. Chelsea from SmartThings here. I'm sorry to hear your experience with SmartThings and your AC isn't what you expected, but I appreciate you reaching out. Of course, we'd be happy to look into the connection errors and display issues that you've mentioned, so please contact us directly by tapping the menu in your app and tap Support or Contact Us.
