Unable to lock
I picked up a scooter from Andrassy Street and suddenly the whole city became a no parking zone, including the spot from where I picked my scooter. This is basically a trap. I would really appreciate a full refund because my whole ride was nothing but looking for a place to get rid of the scooter.
Great stuff but there is one annoying thing
I think this is great, and I enjoyed my rides.
One thing, the safety/parking insturctions should be available somewhere in the app, not just on your first ride.
Also, the thing that Really annoyed me. i registered after hearing it from a friend, and then I had to hurry, so we didn’t do the whole referal thing on spot, and afterwards, I couldn’t add it because I was not a first time user, even though i literally just registered like 2 hours ago. It would be much better, if instead of doing “you get a free unlock on your first ride”, they would do a “you get a free unlock once”.
Also, i enjoy it but it’s waaay too overpriced to use it every day, especially with the unlock fee. A 5 minute ride is the price of two bus tickets almost.
Wont roll, unable to lock, no support
Ive opened a scooter at Nyugati square, Budapest at night but it didnt start rolling. Ive pushed myself with the scooter (and i could use it earlier) but it just didnt start. The worst was that i couldnt even lock it at the exact same spot ive unlocked it, for several minutes and there isnt any contact/support phone number or support chat given in the app. Ive lost about 4Eur for nothing and 10minutes from my life +the extra travel time. Ive sent an email the next morning but they didnt respond at all.
Update: next time the roller didnt work i got a 50% coupon for my next ride (which is unacceptable as i paied for no service). The app showed before getting on the roller that my discount will work, but after the ride it pulled the full amount from my debit card. I didnt have one ride without problems.
I might report lime to the authorities next time.
