Was fantastic
This Rugby app, in my mind was fantastic, the stats, results, news and social sharing possibilities were second to none. I paid for the pro version to have the adverts removed. And, for a long time, this was great and well worth the money. Now, the adverts are back and very intrusive considering I paid to have a premium product. On top of that the stats have been reduced and every time I click on something it wants me to subscribe. £6.99 / month! Come on really!! My Netflix subscription is about the same as that and the content on Netflix by far out weighs the value I get from ultimate rugby. Disappointed, I guess that such a great app has got greedy. I can understand a subscription for newer members who hadn’t joined but to penalise your loyal paying customers...

You still don't receive pop up ads / banners on the PRO version as stated in the description in the app store, it's not completely ad free only pop up & banner free for the PRO version.
As for the subscription, the price is currently £19.99/Year which works out at £1.67 a month for the service and not £6.99. We've had to make this change to support our ever improving level of coverage and addition of new teams, leagues & players alongside additional features & more accurate stats. We hope you understand why we had to make the change and continue to support us moving forward as a valued user of the app.

Still the best but more difficult to navigate
This is still the best rugby fixture, analysis app I have found. One I use nearly everyday, pre-match, whilst watching matches and then post match. For the value it gives me I am happy with my subscription.
The 5.0.5 update takes some getting used to (like double tapping the matches icon on the bottom tab bar to switch between favourites and all matches).
However, the Match page is much harder to navigate. Previously, information was available on tabs so more clicks in the traditional way. Now a lot more of the information is on a single page. Less clicks but more scrolling! And if you get your presses in one of the table views, you can end up scrolling within the view instead of down the page. This makes the two bits of information I use the most much harder to get at quickly - the match score/event timeline and the Line Ups.
My suggestion would be to link to the score/event timeline when you press the score at the top of the page. This would make it quicker to access the timeline (without needing to scroll down).
I would also suggest the lineups table view expands or contracts if you just press the Squads header so you don’t have to search for the small expand/reduce button.

Constantly paying money but a good overall app.
Really enjoyed the plethora of stats & info contained in this app. It really is number one app for rugby fans. You can follow teams & leagues which can be synced to your Callander to see upcoming games. Great live text game updates is also a good addition.
Now we get onto the bad. After asking several times this app to be optimised for the larger phones this still hasn’t been done. I have paid for every premium app they have released but now unfortunately to have access to info I had before I now have to subscribe. This is taking advantage of loyal customers because we don’t retain the features. We don’t even get offered a reduced price. I think this should be offered to all loyal customers who have paid for the app especially those who have paid twice.
