A Life Saver

I went on Photomath not because it was a shortcut but so I could learn. I had to do homework and I didn’t understand it. After an hour and a half I turned to my last resort: Photomath. I found out the answer and it had a clear explanation of how they worked it out! After that it advanced my mathematical knowledge. This is a miracle worker. If you’re on a problem that the camera can’t solve and you know how to do it but it’s taking to long; Photomath to the rescue! The calculator can solve so many equations and can write fractions, indices, algebra and gives you a correct answer. A game changer in maths. I recommend this to students and people who need a little help with math in their jobs. I now know stuff that is meant for people years above me! A must get educational app: better than the best ranked maths teacher in the world: Mr Hegarty. Khan Academy couldn’t beat this.

It’s okay, but i guess it could have more.

I’ve been using photomath for a while now, it has been helpful sometimes when i’m doing my homework but a lot of the times i find that it never answers my questions properly and only gives me the answer of a similar looking question to mine. In that aspect, i don’t think it works amazing. I understand that it is just the ai, but it would be much more helpful if it actually solved the right problem. I also find that whenever I scan a problem clearly, it always says how I haven’t scanned it properly, and to try to crop the image to make it clearer. No matter how many times I do this, it always comes up with the same message. Whenever I’m doing homework, and I am struggling with a problem and ask photomath, it sometimes gives me the correct answer, but doesn’t give me any steps for it. I understand that it is just the policy and you need to sign up for plus to get solutions and methods. But i find this quite useless, because the time it takes me to pay money and sign up for it, I could easily work it out myself. Therefore, i find it quite redundant compared to other math apps, that offer at least a few lines of method, if not detailed. It’s a good app if you have last minute maths homework, and you don’t have time to write down methods or go through a step by step way to solve, and you just want a solution and get it done with. Other than that, I have nothing else to say.

This app is great but sort of unfair

I am a student who uses photomaths to study and help me understand some problems. There used to be a time when this app was free and was so helpful to me god bless 🙏. But these days it’s not free. I can rarely find a reliable app that can help me at vulnerable times, it’s a shame because I don’t use the app to just quickly look for answers but rather help me understanding the solutions, unfortunately I can’t because I have to pay 🙃. I can’t pay y'all monthly because there is so many valuable things such as; tax, bills car insurance etc. my mum is spending her money on monthly. I honestly don’t mind watching an AD just so I can be able to see how to solve the question, maybe when I’m older I would like to pay money to support the app when but as a student I am in no position to pay monthly for an app I only ever use when I can’t understand how to solve a problems at all, that’s not fair. But on the plus side I think you guys have done a great job making this brilliant, advanced app👍, but what’s the point of it if you can’t use it to learn and make students rely on the app more often .😅
