FotMob - Football Live Scores 4+

This app has pretty much everything you want in a football app.

Notifications for matches are almost instant and and be edited to your liking as well as being turned off if your stream is behind/delayed.

The in depth stats are incredible and I find myself looking through tonnes of them for different players and it’s so cool to see them all in one place.

The news is great. Select your preferences, your clubs, what you want to hear about and it’s all there.

Everything is laid out so neatly and it’s really satisfying to look at. Everything is so accessible, whether it’s league standings, player stats or transfer news. With the click of 2 or 3 buttons and your are there.

The live ticker is also a neat feature. Obviously not a substitution of you can’t watch a match but it’s cool to see every pass as it happens on the pitch.

Even if you are a betting man (I am not) every match has an ‘odds’ section where you can go through and see them for different things.

You can see what broadcaster every match is shown on and a transfer centre that shows every transfer in you followed leagues.

Only thing I can fault is that sometimes, when I get a news notification, it will come up but I will get 6 or 7 vibrations, which is slightly irritating, especially given that it is probably an easy fix. But I can’t fault this app in any other way. I couldn’t recommend it more.

I personally love football and I live in a different time zone from the UK so it’s hard to watch matches cos it’s sooooo late but FotMob was really useful for keeping me up to date. Also when I was not able to watch matches FotMob was really helpful with the Ticker. One of my favourite features, personally is the transfer updates, they are very useful to keep me updated. I think FotMob is very good with notifications and news articles all to keep me updated on the latest transfer speculation and just for general news. One piece of bad feedback is that the injury news is very unreliable. For example currently FotMob shows Chelsea as having five injured players, however they only have 2 injured players and even if the ‘injured’ players play the coming match FotMob says they are injured. Otherwise it’s a very good app and worthy of 5 stars.

Recently I’ve been trying to find the perfect live football scores app and have tried many different options. This is by far the best I have found - lots of information without being cluttered, simple well-designed navigation, easy ability to sort the leagues into your preferred order (something many apps struggle with), and unlike livescore you can keep scrolling right through the days (in my experience livescore required you to search on a calendar for any fixture past the coming sunday). also, at £2.49 for three months, I felt the no ads version is very reasonable. lastly, the app allows you to change the home screen widget colour - i haven’t seen this much before but it is nice because you can colour coordinate app with your other apps. 5/5 would recommend to everyone
