Ratings and Reviews
New perks section is not easy to use
Wouldn’t let me create an account password for Adidas. It kept saying my password was incorrect when I was trying to create one. The top back button is misleading and if you’re on a retailer page and tap it, it will take you all the way back to the Everyone Active app and you have to start your searches again. Back button on bottom left has to be repeatedly pressed and never works on first touch. Within the retailer pages it’s not clear which items are part of the Everyone Active perks. They should be grouped in a separate tab otherwise you’re just guessing and hoping your item(s) will be discounted when you checkout which makes the whole process more laborious. App also generally feels slow and clunky in terms of loading speed and responsiveness of buttons.
Promises a lot, get very little
You can book your slots for the pool and that’s about it, unless I’m missing something. Joined because of the promise of a techno gym key, Shipston hadn’t a clue what I was asking about. Decided to join a challenge, connected Strava, that hasn’t pulled through the data. So decided to try and update through the planner as they suggest, but you can’t edit a previous booking. So no meters added to challenge from there. Decided a add my own info, so it now looks like I’ve had two sessions, but you guessed it, that didn’t work either. I’ve even tried online. Typical of council, nothing works to how it should. You can’t ask anyone for advise, I’m still waiting for a reply on a question I asked two days ago via the submit a query. I went in and found the answer instead. It’s a pointless waste of time, which is a shame as could be great little app. I’m hoping someone may come along and explain how the 122 people have managed to log their swim for the Easter Island Swim 2022. I’ve put the year, I’ll update this when I’ve an answer… I’m not going to hold my breath.
Frustrating and Inefficient
As a frequent swimmer at the London Aquatic Center, I was accustomed to the convenience and user-friendliness of the Better App. However, the recent switch to the Everyone Active app has been a disappointing experience. The most glaring issue is the app's login process – for a week now, I've been unable to even authenticate my account, a basic functionality that should be seamless.
Additionally, the new system for reserving individual swimming lanes seems impractical and poorly thought out. It's unclear how this will be effectively managed and it feels more like a hindrance than a helpful feature. This decision not only complicates the booking process but also raises questions about the on-site management of these reservations.
From a user experience (UX) perspective, the app is remarkably subpar. Navigation is not intuitive, features are not user-friendly, and the overall design lacks the sophistication expected in modern apps. The transition from the Better App to Everyone Active has not only been a downgrade in terms of functionality but also in overall user satisfaction.
In summary, the Everyone Active app, in its current state, is a significant step back in both functionality and user experience. It requires urgent improvements and a more thoughtful approach to meet the needs of its users. As it stands, it's more of a barrier than a facilitator in accessing recreational services.
