navCenter is a highly customisable app that enables your iPhone/iPad/Mac/Watch to operate as a multifunctional display (MFD) for NMEA data and as an autopilot remote control for SeaTalk1™ and SeaTalkNG™ autopilots.
navCenter connects to the vessel's WiFi gateway to access navigation data transmitted by the vessel in either NMEA 2000 or NMEA 0183 format. Incoming NMEA 0183 data is able to be logged for later analyses.
When partnered with a suitable WiFi multiplexer or Gateway navCenter is able to remotely control SeaTalkNG™ and SeaTalk1™ autopilots. More information on the autopilot remote control can be found here: https://www.guardiandigital.tech/navCenterAutopilotRemote.html

IP only by numbers
My link is based on a name, not on a IP. I use to have a DNS to maintain the correspondence. Please add support for symbolic IP. I'm using my own device. I collect all nmea and seatalk (converting to nmea) and send via TCP:port through a 4G router. As I haven't static IP I use a DNS service.

Your use of DNS will not prevent navCenter being able to connect to your devices server. Please send an eMail to our responsive and friendly tech support team and let them know the make and model of the device you wish to connect to and they will have you up and running ASAP. Our tech support contact details can be found here: "https://guardiandigital.tech/navCenterContact.html". As per the above request we added support to allow a device address to be entered as a Hostname (symbolic IP) as well as its IP address in version 3.1.7 released on the 4th July 2024.
