Watch to 5K will help you gradually work up towards running 5K in just 9 weeks. The running plan is for absolute beginners. It involves 3 runs a week, with a day of rest in between, and a different schedule for each of the 9 weeks. By the end of the program, you will be able to run 5km in under 30 minutes.

BUILT FOR THE APPLE WATCH
• Runs independently without the need for your iPhone.
• Watch face complications are included allowing you to monitor your progress and quickly launch the app.

PHONE COMPANION APP
• An iPhone companion app is included to allow you to track your progress.
• View a breakdown of your previous runs, including health data and run route.
• Achievements are awarded as you progress through the plan to celebrate milestones such as running continuously for 5 minutes or running for a certain distance.

APPLE HEALTH INTEGRATION
• Sessions are stored in Apple Health and count towards your activity goals.
• Watch to 5K tracks your route, distance, calories, average speed and heart rate so you can easily track your progress.
• Supports outdoors or indoor runs.

LISTEN TO YOUR MUSIC WHILE YOU RUN
• Works alongside your preferred music player or podcast watch app, automatically ‘dipping’ the volumes so you can hear the instructions and updates on your progress.
• Signals the halfway point, so you know when to head home!
• Easy to follow countdown timer that uses sounds and haptics, so you know how long you’ve got left of each run.

GO AT YOUR OWN PACE
• Ability to repeat runs, allowing you to go at a pace that suits you.
• Start the plan from any week. Perfect if you are coming to Watch to 5K from a different plan/app.
• After completing the 5K plan, challenge yourself with the available 10K expansion plan.

Simply perfect, perfectly simple!

This app is great in its simplicity! It does what it’s supposed to – and does it extremely well: the app guides you (on your Apple Watch) through the popular Couch 2 5k program. No need to take your phone with you. But with the latest update you can track your progress in the app on your phone – great for motivation!

It has no community, no subscriptions, no blog, no podcast, nothing. And that is what I like most about it! ;)

Life-changing App

Honestly, I don't think I ever would have learned to run without this app. Every time I tried to run in the past, I made the mistake of running as long and far in one go as I possibly could, then wondered why it felt so horrible and stopped. ''Couch to 5k'' apps like this slowly teach you to do 5k over the course of 9 weeks, but this is the only app I found that works independently on the watch. So for that alone, it deserves 5 stars!

Two suggestions:

- Run 3 in week 5 is a really massive jump from the previous run. You directly go from running 2x 8 minutes with a break to 20 minutes without a break. That's unnecessarily hard imo, especially when you're back down to 18 minutes with breaks the following week.
- I would love a 5k to 10k app from the same developer.

Perfect

Honestly it’s just what I needed. To run without the need of taking my phone. The app is structured in a simple way, I can see my progress and I love that it tells me when I am half through. It is truly fun not to think about anything and simply follow the fitness plan! Best one time purchase app!
