Tesco Scan&Shop Mobile service is a free of charge service that enables the customer to buy products in selected stores of Tesco retail network by using hand-held scanners or mobile phone application for scanning bar codes of the products, following by placement of scanned products into customer's shopping bag and payment for the products after scanning the end-of trip QR code placed in check-out area.

Disappointed: do not recommend
I tried to use this app when shopping groceries (had a cart full of them); when I tried to check out and pay, it asked something like ‘did you scan all items?’ and both the ‘yes’ and ‘no’ buttons were not responding at all. So we had to scan all the items again using the standard self checkout which took like 15 more minutes.. Never shopping at TESCO again.
inconvenient
The app chooses you for a random check by staff when you don’t need it the most. I use the app when I have just a couple of items and the store has a huge line. Of course all of the employees are busy checking out customers, so nobody has the time to check my purchase. I have to call for staff and slow down the line even more. The app is literally useless.
