• look for flights across our global network and book them easily for yourself, or your friends and family

• make sure you’re prepared for your trip with our Travel-Ready Center
• add your bags, drop them at bag drop shortcut, and track them along your journey
• use our built-in terminal guide to find your gate and navigate the airport with ease
• watch movies, play games, and pay for inflight snacks and drinks while you’re in the air
• enroll in MileagePlus or manage your MileagePlus account and use your miles to book award travel in our app
• talk, text or video chat with an agent if you have any questions about your trip
• figure out your next move if your flight is delayed or cancelled

Version 4.2.19
In this release, we’ve made it easier for you to save your opt-in preference for TSA PreCheck Touchless ID when you travel through an eligible airport. Once you save the preference in your profile once, you’ll be opted in each time you check in and get your boarding pass.

United app quite OK, could be improved
The app mostly worked OK, in particular the passport scanner was very practical, but after I had signed off, I could not sign in again via my IPhone, while I had no such problems via my MacBook. I triple-checked my details on the phone, but in the end had to reset my password (to a simpler string) before it finally worked also on the phone. I had quit the app and restarted it a few times, waiting a minute or so between attempts, all to no avail. The hallmarks of a bug in the system...
Excellent service when changing a fliggt
When we needed to change our itinerary due to the floods in the Carolinas United helped us to book a flight with partner SWISS from San Francisco. I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent service provided by United and will certainly fly again with your airline.
App very logical, helpful and efficient.
