Really cool, but doesn’t really work
Using a fender amp connected to my Mac, it won’t detect it in the tonebridge app. No problem I think, I can make a virtual input device, as that would count as a line-in and not usb-audio in. But it also doesn’t show. Since almost all MacBooks now have no Line-in Aux port, I also can’t use the headphone jack port on my amp to connect to the Mac, and rather have to buy a USB interface. Only way this works for me is using the speaker of my fender amp to run it through my Macs mic, which also takes background noise. Then, I have to plug in headphones or otherwise the mic will pickup what your Mac is playing. Really annoying, since this app actually has something going for it and seems pretty good. Garage band can do it, so why can’t this app?
iMac with M1 Chip
Tonebridge opens en shuts immidiately down on my iMac with M1 Chip and OS Big Sur. Reprted many times, but no reply from Ultimate Guiitar developer.
