Supercars App 4+

Good, but could be better.

It would be great if favourite teams and driver’s were shown up in race day standings better when viewing within the app. It seems to be a bit of a hunt at present.

Hostile user experience

I just updated to the new app for the start of this season. WOW is it an absolute step backwards. You need to have people not connected to your business to BETA test if you test at all because no one would have said this was good.

The absolute first thing after BS signup. WHERE DO I FIND THE TRACK SCHEDULE!? I should be able to tap "Race HQ" then tap the upcoming race to see the track schedule, that is the intuitive reflex. But No.

Red over black? Who thought that was a good idea?
If you're colorblind you can just go F yourself pretty much. The color scheme is impossible in a bright environment like I dunno STANDING OUTSIDE AT A RACE TRACK!

Why do I now need a log in? I've just used a burner email because I absolutely do not trust your ability to secure my information. I was able to sniff the traffic easily on my home network.

WHY must you try and monetize the app with ad banners!? Do you really actually make enough money with these banners to justify them being there? Let alone it absolutely destroying the look of the interface.

It's obvious the developers must have been ignored and this has been "designed" by the marketing department and c-suite while they hold their hands over their ears going "lalalalalala" to any feedback.

Just rip off the F1 app or something. Do better.

Nothings changed

This new app was terrible from the start and it’s not getting any better. The news section is so bad that you click to show previous news and it’s all from last season even on a race weekend. The things you want to see on the race weekend like timing and the schedule are so buried in menus that it makes it too difficult to find. This app has been a giant leap backwards for Supercars and I don’t see that they are even attempting to make this any better for their fans. I used to use the app to keep up with what was happening on a race weekend when I was working, but now it’s just not worth it.

We are sorry you didn't have the best first impression of the app. The feedback is always good to get from our fans, and we like to make sure we are listening.

In the latest app update available now, there are improvements to live timing, including a new driving naming convention, as well as an automatic update to the homescreen that immediately refreshes all the news which we think will help the experience.
