Cannot centre Milky Way auto feature.
When in full zoom on the sun, stars can be seen, is this a bug or a feature.
Otherwise a gobsmacking app.....¥ Although a few other visual glitches, like the Milky Way is rotating in reverse because I assume software thinks its still on the northern hemisphere, as well there's a hard delineation in the star fog surrounding milky ways central cluster ferment.
Sky orb app review
This is an extremely useful app for the visual astronomical observer in a light polluted night sky location. I regularly use it to identify the location of barely visible to the naked eye constellations etc as a precursor to aiming my telescope. It helps you to find that which is barely visible or even invisible to the naked eye in light pollution. That said it is let down by the less than intuitive and clunky navigation which makes each observing session something of a learning experience no matter how many times you use it. The result, a three star rating!
Great camping companion
I love being able to identify stars, constellations and planets while camping with my family. In some of the locations we have camped there is very little light pollution which means so much more is visible to the naked eye. This app makes it that much simpler. I've had many other campers ask about Skyorb and I've always been more than happy to recommend it.
