Description

★ Formerly Unretina / Unretiner, this is the original, and most popular resize app for developers! (Name changed at Apple's request).

Develop iOS apps? Easily resize your @2x or -hd cocos2d images in seconds! Great for testing out non retina devices before the big painful export from Photoshop.

Supports .png .jpg .tif and .bmp.

To use simply drag @2x or -hd named images (or a folder containing the images) onto the application, choose an output folder and you are done!

Remember that Resizer is great for some images, but nothing beats recreation.

We've had some great requests for features for Version 2:
* AppleScript Support (Automatically convert a folder when files appear)
* Sharpness Filter
* Other (better quality) scaling methods
* Drop files onto icon
* Settings to default to same folder and hide the message box.

Let us know what you'd like to see!

almost there

great app, very handy for any iOS dev.

however, have noticed that for some images the color changes slightly, and this can be an issue when trying to color match on devices. what mode is it saving in?

Very usefull

This is a big time saver. If it could convert -ipadhd to -ipad -hd and standard it would get the extra star. MIght need a setting dialoag for that but it would be very handy

Good for quick prototyping, but not good for production.

This app does exactly what it says and I think it's a good idea during UI prototyping/testing phases, but for production developers really should make artwork specific to each resolution.
