Looks okay but functionally rubbish
Clearly not enough time was spent testing this app. Face ID and pin set up doesn’t work without forcing me to activate push notifications which I don’t want activated. Mind you I can’t even activate them. Also every time I log in I keep getting told “user has an active session already.” I’m not logged in anywhere else at all. RACQ all about making money for the big wigs and not looking after it’s valued long term customers something that QTMB was always focussed on.
Idiotic password management ruins it
This app makes you log in every time you open it. That would be annoying but not completely deadly, except for the fact that, as far as I can tell, they have deliberately made it impossible to copy/paste your password into the app. This is like *forcing* you to choose a simple, easily guessed password, or one you reuse for everything. I have a 20 or so character password of random symbols, letters, and numbers, different for every app and website. Because I cannot copy it from my password manager and paste it into the app, I have to spend about 2 minutes flipping back and forth, doing a few characters at a time. It’s way more efficient to just use their website in Safari. That lets me log in by copying and pasting my password. Makes the app completely pointless and I’ve deleted it.
Pretty good
I have no idea why there’s so much hate and low ratings on this app. It’s actually pretty good. It logs in quickly, everything I need is there. I set automatic transfers with ease. Paying rent is simple with saved details. Bpay works just fine. It locked as it should when I stuffed up my password. Staff are always helpful on the phone.
The only problem I have now is the widget it missing. The option is still in the app but it no longer appears in my widgets.
