Can’t set up
App wouldn’t load past putting in CRN and digipass number. Online banking is also down so now it’s impossible to access account. I also received no communication regarding customers needing to switch to the new app, the old app just said that it was temporarily inaccessible because development was being done. It seems like the process of merging Rabodirect with Rabobank was rolled out before everything was properly developed and fully tested.

Update (6 August 2019): App is now functional and all the features have worked well so far. I think things got ironed out only a day or two after the first review was posted, so perhaps the developers were rushed into releasing the app before it was ready.

We experienced a number of technical difficulties during the transition period and apologise for the inconvenience this caused you. Although we had the best of intentions with the release of new Mobile App, we understand that we have missed the mark in many way. We agree our communications could have been much better and take this feedback on board also.
We have since resolved these technical issues, and are continuing to make improvements to the speed and functionality of the new mobile app. We appreciate your patience as we act on customer feedback such as yours.

Limited functionality, feels like a web browser, and underwhelms
Would you like...
an app that performs a meek subset of the things you'd usually do on internet banking?
an app that blinds you at night for lack of dark mode?
an app that says "Loading..." for almost anything you can do with it, a la 2001?
Well then you've found yourself a perfectly suited app. Otherwise, you're about to be rather disappointed.
App hangs after digipass login
Needs a lot of improvement to be on par to other iOS banking apps. App hangs (constantly “Loading”) after logging in. Barely useable.
