Random crashes

When browsing folders on my nas Qfile will randomly just close, leaving me to have to manually log in again and navigate back to where I was. Happens regularly enough that it’s a problem. Encounter it the most when I’m switching between multiple directories in a session. I’m on the latest IOS version. Very annoying please fix.

Great features, clunky to use

Like QNAPs other apps this one has promise but is clunky to use.
I’ve got it to transfer my photos to a backup folder and it works but it’s a little tricky to understand the process.
And for example it doesn’t allow you to name files when you upload them to the NAS. You have to upload, dig for the file (recent folders would help), find the file, and rename.
I’m finding I use it to quickly dump files into a temp folder on my NAS then use a PC to clean up and sort later as it’s much quicker.

Latest version is great

I have been using the Qfile app for years and it has only gotten better with time. I prefer to save pics to my QNAP rather than iCloud and the auto upload feature is great for this. Very handy app to access files that I may have forgotten to download before going on a trip. Functionality is pretty much the same as File Station with the added benefit of a download folder. The latest version (2.7.3 January 2018) works equally well on iPhone as it does on iPad.
