Great with the basics, especially 16.1 enhancements, but…

… so much room for improved usability:
Why not allow attaching photo and document objects as one does in the Mail app? I don’t have an email address for everyone for whom I have a phone number. Some of my contacts don’t check their email frequently - or even have email addresses. I hate composing a message, then belatedly deciding I want to add a photo. This forces me to either send the photo separately, or do this multi step process: copy (long press) the unfinished message, navigate to the Photos app, find and select the photo, choose send via iMsg, add the recipient, then - finally! - choose send in the iMsg app.
Why not allow copy-to-clipboard (long press) from the new message state so that text can be saved temporarily to allow navigating away from the app to respond to an external event? Better yet, why not persist the ‘compose new message’ state data (draft message) or request permission to delete it? The same [mis]behaviour is exhibited by this ‘write a review’ feature: one stray finger swipe blows away an incomplete/draft unsent message!
It’s hard to believe nobody else has been frustrated likewise. Does anyone in Apple product development still do user scenarios???

Almost my most used app!!

Great work apple I love this app so much. I can’t seem to screen share though, I have the update. Other then that this is one of my favorites in apps. I have loads of people and I love how it works. It make me and my device feel complete. It’s simple to add and delete people. I don’t experience much bugs in the app. If I do happen to run into bugs, it will only happen once a day for me. I love how we can change profile pictures, pin people, mute people, add people and delete people easily. Thanks for creative this amazing app Apple

Suggestion for apple!

I love this app so much, it is so easy to communicate with family, friends and more. Apple has done an amazing job creating this app but I feel there is one thing left to fully complete the app. I was thinking of a ‘story’ extension. Basically having a little area to take photos of your adventures that you can share with everyone in your contacts. This could be good if you have something you need to say to multiple people but don’t want to make a group chat or message them all individually, which brings me to the ‘friends only’ so when you have something you only want a few people to see you can choose friends only. People should also be able to reply to your story. It would also be fun for little games you can play. Adding filters would make a fun little game where friends can try on the filters together. It’s also good for those people who don’t have social media that you want to see what your doing. Say your hanging out with someone and you want to share it with everyone just post a photo to your story. But overall amazing app!
