LINE 4+

Hey Line,
Firstly, thanks for making an OS X Line app, I appreciate being able to use line on my Mac as well as Phone.
Just a few suggestions that would make this app far more useable.

1. Audios.
Why is there no ability to send line voice messages on the Mac version, it would be really amazing if we could. I don’t think it would be that hard to add this feature, and it would make the entire line-mac experience a whole heap better.

2. Notes.
I do not see, nor understand, why the notes system on Line Mac is different from the iPhone system. Can we not click the ‘notes’ icon in the corner of the chat and access notes? Please?

3. Chat room entering/leaving notifications.
When someone leaves or joins a chat, it does not show up on line mac. Why? Could we possibly include that? Pretty please? :)

4. Bio’s/Settings.
Can we have the same settings as the iPhone version of line? Why is this different.

5. Overall experience.
Stickers store, overall running of the app, etc. Needs improvement. It would be lovely to have line mac as similar to line iOS as possible.

Can someone from the company please just simply assist me without redirecting me to other pages

All I ask is that when I tick "keep me logged in", to keep me logged in. Every time I try and use the Line computer app, it logs me out.

At last, Line has given the Mac app a visual upgrade. It now looks more at home on Yosemite and brings retina support for text and UI assets; unfortunately stickers are noticeably pixelated (sometimes looking worse than the blurry scaled look of the previous versions) and image previews in particular look horrible. Still, at least text is now crisp making for a much better reading experience. 4.0 also brought a number of other features to catch the Mac app up to its (still nicer to use) iOS counterpart. These are a bit of a mixed bag - being able to see all photos from a chat is great, while the new “preview” effect for stickers looks quite rough - but it’s nice to see the Mac app getting some real attention.

IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE UPDATING
After updating the app, all but three of my chats disappeared. Two were the most recently used but the third had gone about a week without a new message so I’m not sure what the criteria is for chats to remain. I still have all of my chats on iOS, but please be aware of this issue before updating (especially if you’re a Mac-only user). Minus one star for this problem.
