hipages - hire a tradie 4+

What a great app!

There should be more apps like this! I am a busy mom of a 1 year old so when something goes wrong I have no time to do the research or call many different companies for the fix. Yesterday I had a roof leak, downloaded the app, completed request in 1 minute and within 10 minutes got contacted by 3 companies offering their quotes and services. Got the best one, the leak was fixed within half an hour! There is also a payment option - just scan your card and it's also taken care of!!! Just amazing! Thank you 😁😁😁👍👍👍 i will recommend this service to everybody!

Good for only dodgy tradies not you!

This app doesn’t post any negative feedbacks someone give to a tradie on it - I hired 2 tradies on it, whoever would get back to you meaning they small business or dole traders don’t get much clients - cuz if they owns good reputation, they wouldn’t get bothered doing that.
So overall pricing is high anyways, yet acceptable as still within industry tolerable range. Accepted the job - poor quality job every time, and they’d try talk you into pay in cash etc as that way it won’t need to go thru hipages system so they lower the price bit for you. But when you find out about the poor quality job they’ve done - they gone block your number and never show up again.
*MOREOVER* And if you leave any negative feedbacks on hipages - it won’t even get published, so people won’t know ; also the rating is calculated by good feedback with recommendation words/good feedback with/without recommendation words, negative feedbacks never get reflected and taken into account so there’s any no star based rating system to reflect the real and fair rating people would give.

I’m an actual tradie working for them as we speak!! Last year I was getting a few leads a lot of them were incomplete numbers wrong contact details ones I called the customer he said i never used hi pages..before they used to give you back the credit, now they don’t give you that lead so you lose $28 dollars now because they’re gone so popular ? They got double the tradies sucked into working for them and you’re lucky to get 1 lead every day..and you have to be the cheapest between 3quotes(on top of that ppl can still ask for more quotes!! Also they have too many tradies signed and I’m still paying them $200 a month and getting not enough work!! Staff it’s very well trained to make you believe that it’s worth it to pay that much if you get one job a week!! Lol seriously? I used to get 3 to 4 leads a day when I first start it!! It’s been 3 days and no jobs!! I’m gonna go back to look for another way to advertise!!! But I bet they won’t cancel my membership..even if I’m not happy!! I’m gonna have to cancel my credit card
