Getahead - Swipe a job today 4+

I love this app so much because it gives you a whole range of diffrent jobs everyday I check back but there is still nothing but when I swiped there was some jobs I like and it’s such a good way to get some working experience I haven’t found a job yet so I’m still looking and it’s soo amazing because it helps you find what job you like and you get to swipe yes or no just like tinder and it’s the best app yet definitely recommend

I realise this is supposed to be a fun new way to advertise jobs and seek work but the colour scheme is just not it. The amount of black just doesn’t seem inviting for every day use.
You also might want to add in a section where job seekers can upload their resume and the app can automatically input details from there. This will improve accessibility for users with disabilities and/or impairments and just improve the overall practicality in general.
Invest in high quality and engaging social media advertising that walk through how the app works too. A great example of this is Hnry’s sole trader platform. The street interviews are fun to gauge an idea of what people make, but it doesn’t seem to have improved the amount of jobs available to apply for on the app.

For a company that seemingly spends so much time and money on marketing, you really need to get the basics of your app right first. For starters, I can’t even add previous jobs to my profile or my education either. Tell me how that will make me attractive to an employer if they have no idea what experience or qualifications I have? It’s a pure waste of time if you can’t even put in basic details. Secondly, uploading photos is a nightmare, it basically doesn’t work.

It’s a real shame to see such a great idea so poorly executed. Love the marketing but please put your efforts into making an app that is actually functional before spending your entire budget on making Instagram reels…
