File Info Professional 4+

I will be using this app alot from now, I like to getting some background info of the files I keep and downlod.

I’m kind of annoyed at this app. It does some good things, but the developers configured it to associate a whole bunch of file extensions with this app that were already allocated to other programs. There is no need for configuring itself as the default application for things that should obviously be opened from the finder using a text editor or a video file etc.

It seems like it is configured to grab as much as possible to remind users that they have installed it and review it on the store. There is no way that the primary function of opening a file is to check its info. This is supposed to be a tool I use occasionally to quickly check info out. Instead I now can’t open files without reconfiguring the default app.

This app grabs every possible file association that it can - so every time you click on some files, up will pop this app. I put up with it for a while until I tried to open a .pkg (of all things!) file, only to have this stupid app open up, and start advertising other apps as well.

Don't install this until they remove their atrocious file grabbing ways.

This one is in the bin for me!
