CoinSnap is a powerful mobile application that utilizes AI-driven image recognition technology to accurately identify any coin within seconds! The identification process is relatively straightforward. All that is required is to take a picture of your coin (or upload a picture from your phone gallery), and the CoinSnap application will match the image to the information present in the extensive database to give a reference result. Each identification offers a comprehensive overview of the coin, including its name, country of origin, year of issue, coin populations, and many more.
What is more, the app has a coin grading feature and gives a reference price for each coin. With this data, you will be able to easily determine the value of your coin and make informed numismatic purchases, sales, and trading decisions.

A must-have for any collector…keeps getting better
I’ve had this app for at least a year now and in the last 6 months it’s had some really awesome feature updates. I’ve been using the free version this whole time too and it has kept my complete collection and it doesn’t cause me any issues or impose limits despite being the free version. I plan to pay for the app moving forward simply to show appreciation to the developers for creating, maintaining and still improving such a useful and brilliant app. Thanks guys…11/10 👍🏼
Brilliance and Learning
I truly stumbled on this app, I have randomly kept certain coins over the last couple of years because I thought “oh that’s pretty” or “wow that’s shiny” not knowing anything about what was the background….. moving along to the present and my coin collecting has taken on a different direction and I love to know I have CoinSnap in the palm of my hands at all times 👍. Totally worth it and a great easy, user friendly app 🙂
Needs to recognise more coins when they release.
The app identifies about 80% of my Australian $1 & $2 coins however it does not identify any of the 2024 coins and a few earlier coins, it’s like the coins it recognises has not been updated since last year. I’m using a 7 day free trial and am most likely not going to pay for a subscription once it expires until more Australian coins are recognised. Also only about half of the coins have a market price it would be nice if they all had an estimated value. Besides all this I enjoy all the other features in the app like coins of the day, and the map that shows what country’s you have coins from.
