1 government ID and 5 minutes are all you need to open a BPI savings account. Open an account with your Passport, Driver's License, Postal ID, SSS ID, PRC ID, or UMID. No need to go to the branch. Once the account is opened, you can immediately access BPI online banking services!

Ratings and Reviews
FIND A DIFFERENT BANK! BPI IS USELESS
I opened an account and won’t get OTPs when setting up my mobile key and to manage my accounts. I have raised the issue and it has been a month now still no answer from them nor any development of this issue.
On top of that, when you call customer service, it takes 30-45min before they answer only to say that there has been no development and have no idea how long it would be resolved. Don’t think about asking for a call back as they don’t call customers back. You call them if you want to have an update with the problem that they make.
Confusing
Tried transferring to another account. BPI asked me to verify using mobile key but no prompt for a mobile key popped up. I have no idea how to authorise the transaction because there are no buttons left to click except for “cancel request” so I’m just stuck in this cycle.
Why force people to move to the new app when things seem like they’re still in the testing phase. If I were in the country I’d just open another account with another bank but even with this option I’m stuck.
Disappointing Client
I use the BPI apps Before and there is no problem in transaction.
Now with new apps it requires to use my mobile number inserted to the phone i use but im not using the number anymore, i have transact using face recognition. I want to change my number, worse is need to get the otp in ATM machine in the Philippines but im working abroad. There are no other option like taking OTP in emails like before.
I cannot able to transfer my money to other bank. Very disappointing!
