You can follow a simple step-by-step guide and setup a real aquarium based on the selection of fish and plants that you made in the app.
With each release we grow our catalogues. Currently there are 671 fish, 316 plant, 28 crustacean and 22 snail species to explore and choose from.

Unfortunately doesn’t have a lot of the species we want to get making it not worth investing. Can’t even test the app due to not being able to edit the selection
Stupid compatibility
I came across this app and was excited, but I couldn’t put fish like bettas and hillstream loaches together.

Hi there, I’m sorry you were disappointed.
The fish you mention live in very different environments and there is a great chance that they would not feel well together. When keeping hillstream loaches people put powerheads to create extra water flow. That would be very stressful for a betta. In reverse the betta fish preferred conditions would not fit the hillstream loach.
The Aquareka app tries to give sensible recommendations, but if you are experienced in fish keeping and can provide the needed conditions, you are free to override the recommendations in the app. You just have to tap on the “See why” button on the bottom of the fish details screen and then on “See possible actions”, and choose “Ignore all conflicts and add”.
The wellbeing of the fish should come first. This is what we try to help with and are grateful for every feedback. Please feel free to use the “Feedback” button in the app to get in touch with us directly.
