Description
The AmpliFi app simplifies the process of connecting and managing all of your Amplifi Wi-Fi devices, including: Alien, HD, Gamer’s Edition, Instant, and Meshpoint products.
The AmpliFi app offers the simplest way to add, monitor, configure, and upgrade your network. You’ll be able to:
- View key diagnostic information, like a connected devices summary, upload/download activity, your IP address, and real-time network speed data.
- Create an in-home guest network for visiting family and friends, or give them remote access to your local network via the AmpliFi Teleport VPN app.
- Control your family’s screen time with the ability to pause connected devices.

Finally WiFi router done right
Probably the best WiFi router and WiFi router app I’ve used. Simple to use, fast and reliable.
Would be good to see WAN (ie internet) usage split out in the usage stats both by device, profile and overall.
Want to love it but key features flakey
Absolutley killer wifi coverage with one key draw back - if you use the app to kill wifi on devices, good luck getting it to work on those devices again without a hard reset. Sometimes they come back on, but over 80% of the time I have to fiddle with deceives until I eventually restart the system. Even that doesn’t fix the problem some of the time.
As the point of a router is to provide wiFi, the fact my son’s iPad or PS4 will connect to the network are refused access to the Internet even when the app says all is well is hugely frustrating.
Wi-Fi mesh great for large house - app gives some detail
The app feels a bit lacking - shows devices and general status of system. It would be nice to see the topology though so I can get a feel for underperforming ap’s and see what is wrong with them. Overall they look ok but are they allowing client connections?
