Trying unsuccessfully to place an order from Australia. Although items are priced and calculated as a total in Australian dollars, the final payment page automatically defaults to Bangladesh currency. This should not be happening, as a customer is entitled to pay the amount in the originally quoted and displayed currency. Even worse, the amount in Bangladesh currency on the final payment page is actually higher (when converted as per applicable conversion rates) than the originally quoted total amount in Australian dollars. And to add insult to injury, if paying in Bangladesh currency (with no option to change to Australian dollars), the customer’s credit card will incur an international transaction fee. This whole process is seriously misleading and deceptive. My sincere request to Aarong is to please rectify the payment portal, if u wish to attract customers and build your online business. I will certainly consider purchasing in future if u are transparent in your pricing.

I used to be a loyal customer from overseas. I always doubted however why Aarong is so over priced but used to think it’s a one stop shop for all my kind of deshi products but now that I know people from my country are being taken advantage of by Aarong I can only imagine what they must be doing to their overseas clients. Shame on you Aarong and your ethics in ripping off people. Aarong should be banned and their license suspended. I’m sure there are much better affordable and ethical shopping options available in Bangladesh than Aarong.
