The app has numerous connectivity issues. Even though the phone has access to internet, the app for some reason cannot connect to the servers. Sometimes after closing and opening the app again, it has no problems connecting. Most of the time it’s a lottery. I also had several situations where the app would crash while paying for the ticket or just outright refuse to let me buy it due to an internal error. Another complaint I have is that you can’t buy the ticket after all the seats are reserved. It’s possible to buy a ticket without seat reservation through the browser but in the app the 2nd class is just grayed out and the only thing you can do is buy a ticket for the 1st class.

The app faces numerous UX issues. The ticket search process is particularly problematic, with an ineffective form design (consider looking at competitors for better solutions). The dropdown menu for selecting departure and destination points becomes invisible due to the keyboard. There are flaws in accents and button placement, such as the “cancel” button positioned above the main button. Locating the departure time is also challenging at first glance. The seating chart is hidden, requiring effort to find when purchasing a ticket. These nuances significantly hinder the formation of a positive user experience. Additionally, it’s not possible to pay for tickets using Apple Pay or Blik. Today, I failed to purchase a ticket three times in a row, resorting to using the website. Unfortunately, the app falls short. I hope the team hires a skilled UX/UI designer and QA tester capable of showing empathy towards users.

I'm giving you an idea: consider adding a feature to send push notifications about train delays for purchased tickets. This would be a highly valuable function, especially considering how "punctual" PKP operates.

The app has similar errors as its browser version. Lots of errors. Halfway through the ticket selection process, it may throw an error. I tried to buy a ticket on phone through the website in Safari and through this application. Only on Chrome was it possible to buy a ticket. Developers should not only create apps with mobile users in mind, but also take into account different browsers. And test applications. Another government terrible app
