Je kunt zelfs een speciale 1Password-browserextensie voor Safari downloaden voor een nog naadlozere integratie.

== Ingebouwde verificatie in 2 stappen == 1Password kan ook eenmalige verificatiecodes voor verificatie in 2 stappen maken en automatisch invullen voor services die 2FA ondersteunen. Je hebt dus geen aparte verificatie-app nodig – en kopiëren en plakken is ook verleden tijd.

== Toonaangevende ondersteuning van toegangscodes == Wist je dat er een handiger en veiliger alternatief is voor wachtwoorden? Ze worden 'toegangscodes genoemd en je kunt ze genereren en opslaan in 1Password. O, en je kunt ze zelfs gebruiken om 1Password te ontgrendelen. Voor sites die toegangscodes ondersteunen, hoef je nooit een ander wachtwoord te genereren.

== Meld je aan met andere providers == Meld je je via Apple of andere providers in een webbrowser aan bij websites of apps? Ook die aanmeldingen kun je opslaan in 1Password.

Zo is je meest waardevolle persoonlijke informatie altijd beschikbaar op elk apparaat.

== Deel alles, veilig == Deel wachtwoorden en alles wat je opslaat in 1Password met iedereen – zelfs als ze 1Password niet gebruiken. We’re excited to share that we’ve updated the release number formatting for the 1Password browser extension! This change aligns our browser extension with the 1Password apps, so you’ll now see the same release number across all platforms. Plus, both the extension and apps will be released on the same date, for a consistent and streamlined experience.

- We’ve enhanced search capabilities to help you find items faster than ever.
- You can now search within a list of items, such as a vault or category.
- We’ve made improvements to the item sharing experience.
- We’ve updated the preview image you see when you receive a shared item link.
- Pending invitations are now included in the invite count shown by the Invite People banner.
- You’ll now see a message in Settings > Security if your app’s auto-lock settings are managed by an account administrator.
- We now save fields more reliably for credit cards and identity items.
- The “Grant access to your account” message will now display the device name instead of the operating system when enrolling a trusted device.
- If you’re a Guest user, you’ll no longer see the banner in the sidebar that prompts you to import your passwords or migrate data.
- We’ve made accessibility improvements to the item Sharing History dialog.
- We’ve made improvements to the auto-lock behaviour when using autofill and visual improvements to the lock screen.
- You’ll now see the correct message on the the unlock screen when you’ve been locked out after multiple failed biometric sign-in attempts.
- You can now view your item sharing history.
- You can now share an item in the context menu. Select an item and hold until it brings up the context menu, then select Share.
- You’ll now see the option to upload a CSV file when you choose to import from Chrome.
- You’ll now see an icon that shows when you’re offline in the Autofill Extension.
- If you use VoiceOver, it will now announce when an item is copied using the copy button in the overflow menu.
- We’ve fixed a visual issue when you customized the Home screen by dragging and reordering rows.
- We’ve fixed an issue where the “Check your internet connection” message took too long to display.
- VoiceOver no longer reads an item’s icon in the item’s Sharing History.
- We’ve fixed an issue that prevented shared items from loading if there was content in the Notes field.
- We’ve fixed a visual issue when you opened shared items where elements on the page were spaced too far apart.

Great app with some improvements

1Password stands out as one of the best password management apps available. As someone with severe ADHD, keeping track of passwords has always been a quite hard, often resorting to using the same one across multiple platforms wich is definitely not safe. However, 1Password changed my approach by seamlessly autofilling automatically generated passwords across all platforms. Its large-scale customization options for passwords and accounts provide a nice and seamless experience and as kind of a geek I like all the customization and possibilities, however if you like simple and easy 1password would also be more then fitting since all of the customization is not necessary since password also generates really good passwords without having to change/customize anything.

One standout feature is the easy synchronization across all devices, making sure my data is always up to date. While the app excels in many areas, I find myself missing a built-in 2-factor authentication feature similar to other authentication apps like the microsoft authenticator. This would make the app even more desirable and easy to use since you wouldn’t have to use other apps for it. Additionally, a feature to alert users of potential security breaches on sites they have accounts registered would be valuable. Overall, 1Password has made my account significantly more safe and would definitely recommend it!

I miss being able to eliminate duplicated logins and the possibility that 1Password suggests the password

Still keep using 1Password 7

1Password is still the best password manager, but not this version 8. 1Password 8 has so many of these little UI bugs. For example, when coming back to the app, the app shifts screens back and forth where it last has been since I left the app. When editing an item in an iPhone, the keyboard keeps overlaying and hiding the UI because it cannot be moved up. Using the password generator is also a nightmare UI wise on both an iPhone and an iPad.
I really have tried to use 1Password 8 for a couple of months. But it is really still a beta version to me. Therefore I’m going to keep using 1Password 7 as my main password manager app.
