Ratings and Reviews
Most reliable!
Most of the Indians who are questioning the prestigious Thomson Reuters that why is follows a leftist approach on Indian issues because the Indian press has been brainwashing all of us with its highly rightist ideology and politicising all the wrong doings with sweet fabricated words. Thomson Reuters is Thomson Reuters.. you simply can’t question its reliability.
Good globally, poor in India. Maybe top editors need to be replaced.
Who doesn’t like to know the clear picture of the happenings of the country.
But in the name of providing news, Reuters seem to be working on uplifting some leftist propaganda.
1. The content: the content is selected and highlighted in a manner to aggravate the thoughts of the citizens in the negative manner. If you search the app, you will find some news which are positive towards the government but never highlighted.
2. Reporting style: Its not as bad as NDTV, but it’s in the same lines. For people who can’t relate: Reuters uses words in such a manner that makes good things about the government look little and purposely enhances bad things any poor decision. It’s just playing with the brains of dunce.
3. Not true reporting: Reporters already define their judgement since the initiation of any article by judging something. For example, a part of headline - “Trump’s Raucous visit in India”. It shows negativity from the start. If one needs to report something, please report facts and not some judgement to divulge the minds of the people.
I don’t mind negative reporting. I genuinely believe criticism helps us to grow. But giving out judgement on some situation and using harsh headlines is simple ways to brainwash the readers.
Custom feeds option not available now
There was an option to add custom feeds (‘My feeds’) in old version of the app, however, it’s not there in the latest version. It was an amazing feature as we could have separate pages on the custom feeds. It saved so much of time as one could move from one custom feed to another in no time. Please add this feature back.
