Very Poor Application
In UTS app I tried booking ticket for my travel and the cost was 190 rs while doing the transaction my money got deducted but in UTS app it was showing as ticket booking failed. I tried again as I was in rush still no luck lost 190 rs again. Later I had to go to the ticket counter to finally book a ticket now again 190 rs gone but I got the ticket. Now to claim that 380 rs which I lost I tried checking the complain or to raise a concern ticket in UTS they have provided this application Rail Madad but this application won’t even let you signin in it. It is so ducking frustrating that I can’t even do a thing. Just to travel it took 570 rs.
Just a frustrated person sharing his thoughts please hired a good software development company. Government have so much money and not sure why they are taking our money to build something beneficial for us, but we are not receiving any of it.
The complaint service is awesome
I really don’t know how Rail Madad was working in past days, but nowadays it’s working like a charm .20 days before this review. While I was travelling on the train, I was charged pretty high, than the regular charges for food in the train. I was sure that if I complain in rail madad then I will not get any kind of resolution? But somehow, I thought that I should complain and my thinking was totally wrong. A Staff from IRCTC called me. He was very polite very professional connected me with train pantry service. Pantry staff apologised to me and refunded me total Food price. Yes, not only the excess price total price. Today, the trains AC was not working. I complained in the same way and see what in just 10 minutes of my complaining a train. Staff came to me and asked me what the issue and solve the air-conditioner problem and this time the guy was very good too. Very good Indian Railways. I’m very much happy that you guys are now serious about taking our feedbacks, but still there is little bit. Some kind of issues also present and in future, I’m pretty much sure that you guys all will solve all of those.
Registering is almost impossible
I tried signing up twice; once with email ID and the second time with mobile No. Both the times it took so long for the OTPs to be received that I could NOT complete the process of signing up. Worst, while trying to sign up again with same email or mobile number, it’s showing “user exists” while trying to log in the App is showing “ Invalid ID”.
What’s the use of developing such Apps by using tax payers money and giving false hope to the citizens ?
