ActivityTracker will keep track of your steps, active calories, distance, active time, and flights of stairs climbed just by carrying your iPhone or Apple Watch around, which you already do!

Research has shown that just by being more active you will also be healthier. Not everyone wants a vigorous exercise routine so just increasing your daily activity will get you in better shape. ActivityTracker will auto-magically quantify your daily and weekly activity and motivate you to be more active, for free!

General Features

Motivation

This app, with it's continual reminder of where I am with my steps, is an important and necessary motivation to keep up with the exercise.
When I retired 7 years ago, I'm now 72, I started regular brisk walking every day, well almost every day, always one 2.6 mile, averaging around 3.2MPH walk in the morning, and nowadays another in the afternoon.
No dieting just the commitment to do a minimum of 11,000 steps a day, to off set the biscuits with my tea and coffee, sometimes cake!
My only complaint (too stronger term maybe), is that I can't also schedule water intake reminders on it as that's my current task, to up my water intake!
Anyway, this app gets more attention than any other, let it take control, you won't regret it!

Interesting App

Well worth downloading this app. Main benefit being, we all keep a mobile phone with us, the app will happily record all your steps every day. Tie these results in with a regular training programme and it will look so much better. Use the app all the time as I walk out. On longer walks or runs you can see the targets you have set. they are always there for comparisons from day to day. Particularly like seeing mileage. well used app. Never miss a recorded step walking or running extremely accurate too no matter what length of run or walk. I’ll be out again tomorrow just a walk this time and see what the result will be. The run does its job though keep the walks for a quite day and record all the runs. Used every day and gives a good insight into that or other training sessions long short. I’ll be out tomorrow for sure ….

Better than Active 10 app!

I downloaded the Active 10 app a couple of weeks back, but I didn't like it - could never work out what the app thought was brisk exercise! I've also tried the
Apple Health app and FitBit, but they both have drawbacks. So I wanted a straight-up step counter with no frills and no encouraging messages. The interface is great, very smart and clear, and I like the weekly goal, as some days I don't get time for much exercise. The ability to upload and download data is also good. Overall, a very nice app.
