Need transaction details of bank statement to verify address? Seriously?

I have just registered on Binance app this morning, sent pictures of my driver license and selfie, regular verification done, then I was going to do verification for my address, I have sent my bank statement, reply said it’s failed, confused? I have contacted customer service, told me because I have blurred each of my transaction details and only shows date and amount, of course I need done this, you ask verification for address, my bank statement clearly shows my name, my address and even amount I have spent, why should I show you where and what I have spent for the last three months, it ridiculous, my driver license and bank statement clearly shows my address on both, still not satisfied? I have just lost confidence to use this app now, honestly I don’t mind to show my bank statement with transaction details to someone like Centrelink or service NSW etc, but not for trading platform like Binance. Really doubt about what kind of personal information you looking for.

Hello, the reason why you are asked for a document that has not been tampered with is to make sure that the relevant document has not been manipulated in any way. On the other hand, there are many suitable documents that you can verify the address and do not include the purchases you make. DO NOT TRUST BINANCE

If I could give them 0 I would. They lost one of my BNB, just lost it. They admitted they lost it and asked me to give them five days to work out the issue and get back to me. That was nearly two weeks ago. Worse I waited FIVE hours in a cue to get help and then they kept me nearly two hours while they tried to work out how they lost it! That’s seven hours of my precious time wasted because their system had an issue and they still didn’t give me my BnB back! What if it would have been a bitcoin!!! The worst customer service EVER! Don’t just take my word for it go online and read the stories of how many people have had the same thing happen also to be told they would find the issue and get back never to hear a thing from them again. Crypto trading is risky enough without an exchange that just loses your coins and take absolutely no responsibility for it at all, it is criminal!!! Do not go near this app or this company, the cheap fees are not worth the heartache and frustration.
