Friendly Team and great first interaction

Shakeel was great in understanding there was a delay with the online chat and organized a callback with Tom, who was so genuine, polite, and helpful, that I've decided to go with a VPS on A2 Hosting! Thanks Tom! Great staff and first interactions!

I spent 90 days with A2 Hosting with no site migration help

I spent 90 days with A2 Hosting on a 1-year contract. I was supposed to get free migration of 1 of my 3 websites. So I took them up on the service. A day or two later, they reported that their automated web transfer tool wouldn't work since my old site uses Plesk and A2 VPS hosting using cPanel. They suggested I do it myself. So with time to spare, I spent more than 30 days researching how to migrate myself while adding an expensive 3rd party malcare tool for viruses/malware and web transfers (a great tool). After another 30 days I finally gave up. The tech support team at A2 is not competent and takes no interest in site migration. Paying for a managed service with no managed site migration means wasting your time. They could have offered a paid service - anything - but no - just stuck. Go somewhere else or get a cheaper unmanaged VPS service and officially do the work yourself. I asked for prorated money back after wasting 90 days and got a no - 30 days is clearly stated in their contract. But I did get a nice "hope you come back soon" note from accounting aka rub-salt-in-wound.

We have used A2 Hosting for many years…

We have used A2 Hosting for many years now. It is always been a good quality service, but this review is about when things go wrong (as they will from time to time) and how A2 handles it. My first support ticket was handled in a perfunctory way, so I said I wasn't happy with the result. That is when they shone.
Within 2 hours my problem was kicked upwards and solved. This was followed up with a personal phone call to make sure I was satisfied. Now that is what you want to see from a quality service provider. Thanks A2 Hosting, that is why you have our business.

I love the support area

I love the support area, as it always helps me in a simple, fast and very friendly manner, especially when I have had more problems, is always willing to give a solution and calm the mood that sometimes does not accompany much, very grateful and totally recommend it.

I have tried many many hosting services…

I have tried many many hosting services and have stuck with A2 for many years because of their consistent far above the competition tech support. Could not do it without the A2 tech specialists, if I could give Ten Stars I would! You guys are always the best!

Customer Service Does Exist

It's so refreshing to reach out for support and not have to jump through hoops to get it. Recently, we questioned whether the hosting plan our company has been on was still the best for our needs. Two days before auto-renewal kicked in, I contacted A2 Hosting. The representative was very knowledgeable and helpful in assessing the situation. He wasn't pushy, nor did he make me feel stupid.

It turns out there was a better option for us, so I decided to switch. A2 handled everything. Billing contacted us about the changes, and A2 tech completed the rest.

It's a good feeling to know that customer service still exists.

Unskilled support not fit for serious business use

Third problem this year that has had a very poor quality response. Admittedly, I have a complex problem, but when I gave them the evidence, support didn't respond for two days. When chased, they ask simplistic questions and give simplistic advice. When I point out the problem is much more complex than they say, and provide further evidence, they've gone quiet again. Although they can provide quick answers to simple issues, the evidence of this and previous experiences is they don't have the knowledge or expertise to solve problems that are non-trivial. That may be good enough for hobbyists, but I'm going to have to look at moving elsewhere.

Incredible customer support

I recently transferred over my domain from squarespace to A2Hosting, as well as purchased a VPS host server. There were some complications with my domain transfer and Tom R. on the support team stayed on the phone with me until the problem was completely resolved. Tom even went the extra mile to help reconfigure my DNS settings and was incredibly patient with my non-expertise, carefully explaining the why and how behind the changes he made. After this experience, I would high recommend A2Hosting to anyone looking for a great service with even better customer support.

A2 Hosting is the high-end of shared…

A2 Hosting is the high-end of shared hosting. Their technical support is on par with high-end cloud hosting. Their raw speeds outperform other shared hosting providers even without Cloudflare's free CDN services. Being able to select between East and West coast servers with A2 Hosting is important when it comes to shared hosting for localized small businesses.

So far I am really satisfied with A2hosting. All my support tickets have been resolved really quickly, and their support team is very friendly and give detailed responses. I was overpaying on other hosting providers for so long. Highly recommended!

Exceptional Technical Support

I have been an Aerospace Engineer for over 40 years. In that time, I have had a number of hosts as well as my own servers. The A2 technical support team is head and shoulders above anything I have experienced in the past. Each request I have made to the team has been handled with the utmost courtesy, professionalism and timeliness. Truley exceptional support. If there is better out there, I'm not aware of it.
