It started how most companies start, except Matt was sitting on a ledge 500 feet off the ground thinking 'there has got to be a better instant coffee out there.'
So he enlisted a friend and Alpine Start is what they brewed up.
We try not to take ourselves too seriously. But we think good drinks help make great experiences and moments, which is what we're all about here.

FAQ
How long does your product last?
Our products are labeled with a Best By date of two years from manufacturing. But just because they're best by a certain date doesn't mean that they're bad after that date. It's instant coffee after all, so you'll see only a minor difference in flavor even years past the date.
How long will it take to get my orders?
We tend to get orders sent out either the day that you order or the next business day after you order. Shipping hasn't been the most reliable thing post-covid but we'd like to think that you'll receive your package within 3-6 business days from when you ordered if everything goes well. If you didn't receive your package, send us an email with your order number and we can look into it.
Is this sustainable?
We try to be honest with ourselves…
Buying anything means you’re consuming resources.
Unlike buying a bottle of water or can of soda, everything we make is packaged in super light containers. Because we want them to taste good and last a long time, they’ve got plastic and metal on them - but the good news is that everything is super light which means you’re spending less money on shipping them and the carbon footprint is wayyyy lower because you're not shipping water and you don't need to keep anything refrigerated or frozen.
We are Climate Neutral certified and constantly looking for ways to get better!

It’s also a term used in climbing when you get up really early to go climb, either because the climb you’re doing is really long or there are other hazards like ice or rockfall that are more likely to happen in the afternoon.
