Great Bed - service needs some sparkle!

Its a good product but the service team need help in being proactive. EG Got given a drink voucher on check in (nice) but then finding out there is no f+B outlet - so where are you supposed to utilise your voucher (Only by asking alter did I find out you can get the receptionist to give you a drink !). On check out, tried to get the lift to the carpark, in full view of the receptionist, only after I cam back to the desk did they suggest they would have to scan me into the lift?! On check in I alerted the reception that I had a car parked but didn't know the rego as it was a hire car. She said as long as it was in the parks marked Hotel it would be ok. Next morning found a note on my windscreen that I needed to register the car with reception. All just niggly things that make a visit annoying and could be fixed with the proactive attitude of the team. Beds are great Shower is great!

they charged my credit card $30 for parking i refused to pay for.

ok hotel, bed was ok, room was good, however you charged me for parking when i refused to pay it on the day, you send me an invoice with it charged then removed, now this morning its charged so i called and all he said was he will talk to the manager, i told them it was an unauthorised payment and it needs to be refunded immediately. I am not impressed and because of this I will never stay here again.

I had a great stay at The Johnson Brisbane - Art Series and would rate it 4 stars. The hotel offers a unique and stylish art-inspired ambiance, with spacious rooms equipped with modern amenities. The outdoor pool and gym are fantastic additions, providing a relaxing space after a busy day exploring the city. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to assist. The location is also convenient, close to major attractions and the city center. However, one minor issue was the hotel's card system. The elevator card, room key card, and power switch card all look very similar, which caused some inconvenience during my stay. I hope the hotel can improve this to enhance the guest experience. Overall, The Johnson Brisbane is a fantastic choice for those looking for a blend of art and comfort in Brisbane, and I would consider staying here again.

We had a great stay at The Johnson. Beautiful room, friendly staf, nice pool, great location,… Couple of nice restaurants down the street and a free bus to the city right across the road. Great hotel to explore Brisbane wich is a fantastic city!

Told me porkies re a late checkout, ended up trying to waste time before my departure for the airport, why tell your punters that it's possible to get a late checkout if they have no intentions as to giving you that option, hotels full today when it was not!
