Third time I have stayed here this year. Despite this the young Asian man on reception on sat afternoon very abruptly demanded photo ID (never been asked before ) and a $50 deposit -when I asked why he just sneered and said " in case things go missing " ?! Rude. Also no water in any of the fountains at reception Sat night .Finally room was so small one side of the ( v small double ) bed was wedged against the window - the pillows are also soft as marshmallow - no support . Rest of the staff were friendly and professional to be fair but this guy has utterly put me off rebooking -trust me, nothing in that shoe box I would want to walk off with !

Best place to stay. I highly recommend this place. Central to everything including central station. Have water dispenser, microwave at the ground floor. The staff are welcoming and provided very exceptional customer service. Easy access to the train station approx 5 mins walk

Last minute booking due to unexpected and sudden change in accommodation plans. Have stayed In Mantra hotels before this, in various parts of the world, this was by far the worst experience ever! The room was small, musty smelling, and dirty! The carpet was stained, and covered in human hair. This was evident when a suitcase was opened on the floor, and as it was a soft side type, when lid was closed, it was covered in hair!! I doubt if that room had been vacuumed for quite some time. We asked for clean towels on day 4 and for room to be cleaned, ie rubbish bin emptied. We had to ask twice, before it happened, and all we got was the towels and a rubbish bag, shoved at us from the doorway! Reception staff were smiley and friendly but ineffective. Asked if they could give us info on an airport transfer. We were told, “no access to that, get the train, or a taxi!” The hotel is advertised as having a restaurant, also advertised on the in-house tv screen This is not the case at all. Shower has good water pressure. Hotel location was good. I would never recommend this place to anyone, and resent the money we payed to stay there.!

Mantra Terrace is my 'home away from home' when I am working in Brisbane. Friendly and professional, it is my virtual home when travelling. Check in is always a breeze and am greeted warmly. They know my coffee order ...so I must be a regular... 😆
