hello travelers I am a YouTuber. I have been to many hotels and hostels. I like this hostel and its staff very much. They were very kind. The breakfast was also very good. A private room for (nearly) the cost of a shared bunk room

Private cabins are genius, just a few bucks more than a shared bunk room, but allows you to go to bed early/late, wake up early/late, turn on lights, etc. without bothering roommates. Truly felt more like a hotel than a hostel, a good thing if your main focus is R&R!

Hostel for the homeless/beggers

We are a family of 4 (parents and 2 children) and a few years ago, we stayed here and our review was a very good one. Unfortunately, the "hotel" has become a place for the homeless/beggers. We were given a filthy room, with trash from the former guests, including a piece of rotten apple pie on the closet! It was hallucinating. We made pictures and a video and went to the reception. The reception apologized and gave us another room. Unfortunately, it was meant to be a horrible night. It was hell. We thought that the airco was broken, but unluckily found out that it is just inexistent. According to the hotel, the minimum temperature has been set to 26C°, even in case of a heat wave, which was the case yesterday. There is NO climatisation. There was no air in the room. It was suffocating.and not healthy. The hotel argues that "it's for the planet", but it's simply that the hotel is big and they just decided to cut off expenses. When trying to breath during the night, we opened the window, but the horrible noise from the highway, non stop during the whole night, made sleep impossible. So, we paid for no sleep (?) Also, the beds are not clean at all. On the edges of one of the beds, there were bread crumbles. Furthermore, itch in the middle of the night due to filthy sheets (bedbugs(?), during a heat wave, and no sleep... AND noisy neighbors upstairs coming at 3 in the morning, stamping and jumping (?)= A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. For your own good/health, do NOT book in this "hotel", at least if you care about clean, decency and getting (a good) sleep. The only reason why we would go there would be for the common lobby (also not very clean, very dirty tables), where there is wifi, a restaurant/bar and a terrace. Anyone (really: EVERYONE, even people from the streets!) can just come in and stay there as long as they want! Weird, dirty, but for free 👍🏻 The neighborhood is not a good one, it's actually scary, especially in the night, so beware. We would have appreciated a whole reimbursement of our stay due to the incredibly bad stay, but understand that it's just the way it is, a bad budget hostel, because it does not deserve to be called "hotel". Bye bye, Joe and Joe! We wish you very good luck treating your clients like animals and hope you don't go bankrupt.

Check-in and check-out experience is seemless. Breakfast is fresh and has very good variety. Rooms, sleeping pods are about okay - there is lack of air conditioning or mini fan which makes it very claustrophobic. Toilets and bathrooms are clean and well maintained.

Great Hostel

Great hostel. I like the privacy with the bottom bunks and host spacious they were. The lockers were also very spacious. Only down sides were - the showers did not drain very well, and some soap dispensers did not have any soap. But these are minor things that can be improved upon.
