Outstanding few days to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Treated like royalty by all the team who's attention to detail are absolutely fantastic. A very special mention to a member of staff named Ben, who had only been there a few months and was on his probationary period as a member of staff. An outstanding young man who made a very special occasion for us even more special. Thank you Ben.

I have to start by admitting The Savoy is our favourite London Hotel.. ..Many of the Staff especially the meet and greet at the door have been with the savoy for in excess of 14 years Years.. This to me is always a excellent sign.. As you reach the door The Hotel exudes a warm and genuine welcome to its guests .. Since Brexit and Covid its obviously had some issues in bringing back its general staffing levels .. That said the Boys and Girls do everything to make your stay comfortable and a enjoyable memory to take back home with you.. I would, However, say the only little gripe i had and, the first ever.. Was that the Savoy is adding a Service charge for the use of the room .. I cannot agree with that additional cost .. That said it is discretionary and was immediately removed on request .. IF youre a driver and like us prefer to Drive into London The Savoy has very secure parkin in their own garage ..

Careful in the bath

I love this beautiful hotel. The restaurants are great and the walk in the park behind the hotel along the river was beautiful. However, I had a room that had a dangerous bath/shower. It was so slippery the rubber mat with suction cups wouldn't stick and there was no vertical handbar for stepping in and out.

I stayed at the Savoy again , this time on my own as recently widowed . It didn’t feel quite as friendly as usual probably because I was a single stay but I still enjoyed it . I ate with my niece in the Savoy grill and had the beef Wellington which was excellent. One hiccup , the coffee machine didn’t work and water ran out from underneath. When I told the desk he said’ there are some that don’t work’ !! Not what you would expect for the Savoy . A little disappointed this time but still mainly wonderful

Hotel was Great, suite was awesome as was butler service, being told I was a credit risk by reception not so good when I own a multi million pound business, overall dissatisfaction. Apparently I need at least 200 characters for this review to be posted so I’m now “padding”
