Early Morning Flight Stopover

We stopped at this hotel before an early morning flight to Vienna and found it to be very good. It was actually St Patricks Day when we went and the hotel lobby was decorated for this with complimentary food and drink. Our room was small but well equipped and clean. It did the job. Would stay again.

My elderly mother was waiting in the carpark (not parked because she didn't leave the car) and ended up with a €100 parking fine. There were no clear signs to indicate parking regulations, costs and fines (i.e. nothing to indicate that waiting in the area is prohibited). What an unbelievable money-making racket!

I visited London with my 8 yr old and used this hotel as my base. It was ideal! Within 10 mins walking distance of the airport. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our meal at the hotel was really tasty and really exceeded my expectations! Again the staff were so lovely and made a lovely ice cream treat for my little girl. It was so good, I have booked it for 2 more upcoming trips with the rest of my family.

I stayed in ibis Budget next to Luton airport, as I had to catch an early flight at 5am next day. The hotel is located very conveniently at a walking distance from the airport terminal - 10-12 min walk or 3-5min with a shuttle bus. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, happy to spend time explaining and answering my questions despite the late hour of the evening. The room was very basic (as expected for ibis Budget), but top-notch clean, with shower gel and liquid soap and fresh clean towels available in the bathroom. Free Wi-fi was available around the hotel and in the room. My room rate was GBP42 per night, as I booked 3 weeks in advance - quite good value for money for this type/standard of the hotel. On the day, the same room rate was GBP55, which I would argue is a bit overpriced for what you get - so, I'd recommend booking in advance. Overall, I have 100% positive experience and would stay in this hotel again when I travel to / from Luton airport.

Prima voor korte nacht maar zeer klinische uitstraling

Okay, het is een budgethotel maar toch was de kamer nog best te doen. Zeker de badkamer was ruim en niet minder dan normale hotels. Wel nadeel dat één van de personen vanachter het bed in moet klimmen omdat het tegen de muur staat. Het personeel bij inchecken was attent maar had geen verdere aandacht of interesse; we waren gewoon weer een gast. De ontvangst- en ontbijtruimte beneden had wel wat stijl en kleur. De kamer daarentegen is helemaal wit op de tv na. Muren, beddengoed, kasten: alles is erg klinisch. Maar ook goed schoon en dat is voor een kort nachtje voordat je gaat vliegen toch belangrijk. Parkeren ter plaatse is duur (10 GBP), maar ze hebben tenminste plek. Bij de normale IBIS was het allemaal onoverzichtelijker en was er nauwelijks plek.
