Spent 3 nights here in late October and we were happy with our stay. The location is in an ideal location as you are able to walk to all of the main sites, and have access to many food options. The tram and train is also very close We had a double twin room which was a good size, space to put our luggage, it was clean. The bathroom was a good size with a supply of toiletries, robe, slippers. Room included a free mini bar which had water (was replaced), orange and coke. There was also a coffee maker and kettle. 2 things I didn't really like: We had the top floor (5th floor) with one small window which was a roof window We could hear a lot of noise from a nearby bar late at night/ Breakfast was included: good number of options warm food, a good mix of cereals and yogurts, fruit etc. I saw one guest had ordered an omelette one morning, while I didn't it was good to know.

Front desk staff helpful and friendly. Buffet not worth €25 a person. Toilet flush was sluggish and took multiple attempts. Door wouldn't lock properly and got that fixed. Only needed to push it to gain access. Limited amenities. Having a second Mercure 1/2 a block away confused taxi drivers. Was clean. Quiet. Not bad. But a 3 star would be more accurate. The hotels outdoor lights on the entrance were never on at night. Made the building look closed and not exactly safe. We would likely stay again but we now know what to expect.
