Nice place to stay. It's close to transportation shops and dining. The employees are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast served is also nice with a good variety of options. The Bar is also great. Ask for Shah he makes really great tasting alcoholic beverages. Every drink I requested he made 😋

Lovely hotel, short walk away from paddington station. Pizza Express nearby. Family room with double bed and sofa bed. Lovely breakfast, worth a visit. Huge reception area with plentiful seating and decent toilet facilities. Check-in took quite a while. Odd free turtle soft toy for the kids (like a McD happy meal toy). No water refill station in reception like other hotels, bit disappointing.

Obviously the location is excellent. Checking was pleasant. I was a bit surprised when we had to order replacement coffees etc via a QR code (and there is space for other notes so I also asked for slippers, not anywhere in the menu, which previously have been in our room), however, everything was delivered promptly and with a smile. Although this self service was a surprise rather than ringing housekeeping, I am sure if you rang the front desk they would be happy to help. This was very different to our next hotel, Novotel Centrum Brugge. We went to reception to check in, 2 staff at desk chatting, no other guests around, the “gentleman” referred us a machine to check in ourselves. Understandable if you are busy, but they were not. Sorry we interrupted their conversation. We also ordered some extra coffee and milk via the app and over an hour later received a reply we could collect some ourselves from the bar downstairs. I went down and the guy at the bar had no idea what I was talking about, he asked the same male receptionist who got me some coffee and the barman managed to get some milk and tea. The receptionist said “we don’t do room service” (he also said he was the one who replied to our message) which I queried as we were only ordering some replacement room amenities not food or drink to which her sternly and rudely replied “that is room service”. My point is that it is no big deal to have to do things yourself like order using a QR code but there still needs to be the accompanying service. Novotel Padding backed this up with service and lovey staff, Novotel Centrum Brugge, same system, backed it up with no service and rude staff. I will be leaving a comment with them also.

The room is ok in side and nice shower Separate toilet . But the aircondition did not seem to work so the room was crazy hot. Mediocre breakfast. The restaurant has a nice tuna salad with friendly personal. The view speaks for itself;) I would not recommend to stay here.

We stayed at the Novotel for our daughter’s first London Trip, and we absolutely chose the right hotel! Located just a few minutes’ walk from Paddington, it’s a great choice for easy transport links, and as it’s located right within an office district, there’s a great food area less than 2 minutes away with Pret, Greggs, Wagamama, Sainsburys, Itsu and a salad bar and a lovely seating area with deck chairs. There’s also a Black Sheep Coffee seconds away right across from the hotel which has now become a new favourite coffee place! We arrived early so asked if we could store our suitcase and this was no problem at all, and were warmly greeted when we returned to check in later, all staff were really nice. You need your room key to access the lifts which is always a big plus at hotels for security reassurance and plenty of lifts available. The rooms are great, really spacious and the building works didn’t impact our window view of the lovely area below at all. There were complimentary bottles of water and tea/coffee facilities and Rituals toiletries. There was easy to use air conditioning in the room which was very well received for a sunny 28 degrees day. The hotel is lovely and quiet at night and we had a great night’s sleep! We also received a nice welcome card and chocolates to our room in the early evening which was a lovely surprise! Now to address the issues raised in other reviews- do NOT be put off by the complaints about renovations! Yes the exterior of the building is not as nice as normal, but it made absolutely no difference to our stay and we also got a fantastic price for the night (£192 for a four star hotel in central London!!) and as said previously, our room view was not compromised at all. We heard 2separate guests in front of us at check in commenting on the fact renovations were going on and being grumbly about it- it cannot be any clearer that this work is taking place on the Accor website, and if booking through a travel agent i’d be very surprised if they failed to mention this! But as the renovations are taking place between 9am-5pm (and when we arrived at around 4pm we could hear no building work at all) I’d also say this.. if you are a tourist staying in an exciting capital city with so much to see and do, who wants to be in their hotel during the day?! We will 100% return to Novotel Paddington in the future- thank you for a great stay!
